Indigenous Landscape Mural at The Los Altos Community Center

This Los Altos Community Center was done in collaboration with local environmentalist and artist Linda Gass. Together, we worked to turn her aerial view designs of the local landscape into full wall murals. The main entrance mural features indigenous dwellings along what is now Permanente Creek. Linda consulted with the Muwekma Ohlone Tribal Council to ensure the village details were accurate. The second mural depicts the orchards that once covered this area back in teh 1850s.
